Procrastination Sunday

We had sooooo much to do on Sunday, chores at home, preparing our holiday cards to mail, prep for brunch guests on the 25th, wrapping gifts, finishing crafty items!  So, what did we do?  We procrastinated, blew off all of our responsibilities and drove downtown to check out the Renegade Craft Fair.
The Fair was held in Grand Park, which runs between the Music Center and City Hall.  The Park was decorated for the holidays.  Pink is a very festive color.

Many food trucks were lined up.  Barbra and Maridee with their Yarnover Truck were serving clients.

There were rows and rows of vendors selling everything from ceramics to bath salts and beyond.  I took lots of photos.

I hadn't been to the Renegade Craft Fair for years.  The last time I attended, the products were really handmade and way more artistic.  This was a slick show, not what I was expecting.  I do like to support local artisans, but I would guess that more than half of the artisans represented at the Fair were not from Los Angeles.  I did purchase the first issue of "Knit Wit" which is a highly inspirational fiber arts magazine (without actual patterns).  Our best buy of the day was a delicious lemonade and strawberry popsicle.  It was very refreshing and reasonably priced!
The MOST delicious lemonade/strawberry popsicle!
